Dyeing Easter eggs with Kimie and Irene. This was before vaccines, so all are wearing masks.
Attending online Tokyo Union Church Easter Service!
Irene is sure to always invite Suki whenever we go to their house. Suki gets lots of extra love from Irene.
Kimie's handiwork! ❤
Friends of Trees tree planting on Easter Sunday, a great way to celebrate spring and renewal. "Socially distant" planting means that I can organize my own crew of close contact helpers. This is a new native species Oregon white oak street tree, Quercus garryana.
A front yard persimmon tree
May 1, 2021 Naomi's soccer team, Portland City United Girls '09 Team won the State Cup title for their division. On to Utah for the Regional Tournament! Naomi is in the front row above, at the right on the end.
Naomi is standing, in the middle, right edge.
Sunday, May 9, 2021 - A favorite hike any time of year, through the groves of Oregon white oak on the Oak Island Wildlife Refuge of Sauvie Island.
May 25, 2021 - Irene is 12 years old! She is an expert baker, but I can't recall if these desserts were purchased. Happy Birthday Irene!
Julie took the girls to go visit friends in Buxton, OR. They have goats! (Chickens and kitties too, but I only have photos of the goats from this visit.)
