please click on leia's album to see a few photos of our Mother's Day dinner last weekend and a few other recent shots of us.

leia stopped calling us Mommy and Poppy and now calls us Mama-chan and Papa-chan! Of course, Grandma is Grandma-chan and Jiji is Jiji-chan, etc.!!

The fun never ends with our spunky sprite!

love you all,

Hey Norie: Great photos! So bittersweet as we are sad to hear we won't see you at the reunion. But do keep us posted across the waters and we'll look forward to seeing your photos and reading your stories about Leia.-M

She is a fast runner, and barely runs out of breath, and so someday, I expect her to visit Marie and Tim for the Boston marathon! Today, she actually ran out of breath, telling me, "There is no more air in my tummy! (Onaka ni kuuki ga nakunacchatta!)" She learned a song in yochien where they use the expression "gozansu" as a sentence ending. These days, she adds it ...

There are a few more items I'd like for you all to look at, but since I don't have all the data collected, I'll send them in batches. Here are a few of Jiji's paintings I'm wondering if anyone is interested in. Please let me know! Thanks!
