hi all, we added a few photo albums to leia's picasa site recently, so be sure to take a look when you have a chance. here are two of my recent favorites. one of her favorite activities these days to keep her busy while mama's in the kitchen is peeling onions!! it kept her intensely focused for a long time - until she started to rub her eyes! :P she also loves bath time...here's a photo of her happy in her tub! enjoy! love norie, hiro and leia
Here we are, getting ready for our gardening year. The early blooming roses have started, and Tim has put in all the veggies, including tomatoes and peppers! Hope we are really on our way- the weather has been very uncertain lately! Tim worked with Fenway High kids and their teachers to do some volunteer work in the gardens: Radishes: Peonies: Flutterbye roses: Westerland climber: Bridal brunch- our friend Asako is finally getting married- whoo hoo! Happy June, everyone!
I met up with Norie and Hiro and Leia in Roppongi to pick up some mulberry leaves Norie had picked. I tried to get a picture of Leia with the sculpture framing her but every time she saw me through the opening, she turned and ran around the side. There is no posing this kid. One has to be pretty darned fast to get anything more than a blur. So here is our charmer exploring Midtown.
Here is the girly baby quilt so far. I love the batik fabric at the bottom but I couldn't buy enough. I got the roses and Norie says it looks great but it does not show the four 1inch squares because many are light in color. Shall I give up on the squares or find another sashing or struggle on and hope it turns out OK???
